NBM
works with specialists who have extensive expertise
when it comes to the acquisition and commercial
exploitation of superior quality locations. NBM’s
operations can be broken down into two parts.
On the one hand, the company is involved in acquisitions.
On the other hand, NBM focuses on managing the
property it acquires, and also does the same for
other organisations.
NBM Acquisitie operates in all segments of the
property market, although it has developed special
expertise in the purchase of A1 shopping centres
and residential complexes, and in the acquisition
of property companies. It is in this area that
NBM has grown to become one of the leading players
in the property market. It has since achieved
numerous successful takeovers thanks to its pursuit
of a proactive acquisitions policy.
Office blocks are also acquired. The principle
that is used when acquiring office blocks, is
that the latter must be situated on their own
and they need to have their own unique identity.
NBM Beheer is responsible for maintenance and
commercial operations within three sectors. With
regard to shopping centres, NBM concentrates mainly
on exceptional A1 locations, although it is also
an important player in the management of shopping
centres and the provision of support in the form
of services to national chains.
In addition, NBM Beheer is active in the residential
sector, in which it has acquired assets that are
as varied as they are valuable. NBM is represented
in virtually all segments through a diversity
of locations which vary from terraced homes in
urban centres to new development projects on the
outskirts of different cities mushrooming in the
Netherlands and Germany, amongst other places.
NBM Beheer is an important player in the office
sector. Acting on behalf of its affiliated companies
as well as other organisations, NBM manages a
portfolio which includes, in particular, monumental
office blocks with a floor area of 500 m2 to 2000
m2.
